ARTS PICK: ‘Test Drive’ a free Norfolk chamber concert
NORFOLK — If you’re one of the few people who has not enjoyed the sounds of chamber music in the hills of Litchfield at Yale School of Music’s Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, a golden opportunity awaits.
The festival is offering new attendees and those who haven’t been back in three years or more what it’s calling “Test Drive Norfolk” — a chance to try any concert for free.
Carol Jackson, the box office manager, says, “... we want to be able to share this wonderful experience with as many people as we can. All are welcome, and invited to apply for tickets on the festival’s website (www.norfolkmusic.org). All we ask is that Test Drivers complete a short survey on their thoughts of the concert after they have attended ...”
The season schedule includes concerts Friday and Saturday nights through Aug. 14, with the Norfolk Choral Festival concluding the season on Aug. 21 at the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate.
