You should know: Defending champion Danbury has the talent and depth to repeat on the girls’ side. However, never count out Hillhouse, which has won the Open title five times since 1989. On the strength of its distance team, Glastonbury is also a contender, as are Bloomfield, Darien and Windsor. On the boys’ side, Danbury has won three out of the past four years, and has claimed eight titles since 1998.
