One hospitalized after Jeep crashes into New Haven market (video)
NEW HAVEN - A crash at George and Day streets Thursday sent a Jeep careening into the front of a corner market.
The driver of the Jeep, who police say didn’t have a license, was hospitalized with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening. Both cars — and the storefront — sustained significant damage.
The wreck pushed in the front of the store, sending bottled soda and toilet paper flying from the shelves. No one was hurt inside the store.
It happened shortly before noon at Cecilia’s Deli Market at 539 George St. The Jeep somehow ended up wedged between a utility pole and the front of the building.
“It’s going to be a hard one,” said York tow truck driver John Digioia. “I’ve had worse. I’ll get it out.”
The Fire Department summoned the city building department to make sure the building didn’t sustain structural damage.

It's not just the old timer's either.
It's young people...are they smoking dope and they are just too relaxed?
Are they even tested for drugs? "
